LED TV's

Just got the LG 47LM6700 LED TV today. Played a game of 2K12 and noticed ghosting or trailing during fast breaks. Which TV do you guys have? Are plasmas better for gaming?

Play around with the settings, see if there is a feature called 'motion flow' and turn it off.

Yea disable any "Motion Flow" or "Smooth Motion" or "Liquid Motion" or any other "Advanced" effects. Games don't need them.

I'm sure you are aware of refresh rate if you bought this set? NBA2k12 looks great on my 42" LCD 120hz. If you have a 60hz that could be exaggerating the problem.

LG's are poor quality t.v.s for gaming...

Go back and Get a Samsung ES7500 or EN6100

LG's are quite good but you need to do a lot of tweaking.First of all go to display settings in the menu of your tv and set it to expert mode. You can find specific tweaks if you google.

Yeah like others said, if it has any motion type of feature, true, smooth, smooth, movie, cinematic, etc, turn it off.

Plasma tv's have the highest frames per second. I have always owned a plasma. I just recently purchased a new one. Before I purchased I was considering a LED but changed my mind once I saw the FPS differential. LED 150 FPS $1200; PLASMA 450 FPS $800.

Put your TV in Game Mode. Make sure Tru-Motion Setting is OFF & enjoy
