Advancement goals not updated

I'm doing well in RTTS and have just got into the MLB. My advancement period has finished, but nothing has happened, no e-mails or new goals!
Does this sometimes happen or is this an error that's occurred, as I feel in limbo now?

I'm in late August in AAA Cubs and the same thing happened with me. Successfully completed last goals but now I have none given to me.

Are there times when the coach just say "go out and play don't worry about goals this time" ???
