Impossible to drive?

It seems like whenever a player drives in 2k12, they either get blocked or enter into an animation where they shoot a stupid double clutch layup thats an f shot rating and makes it 1 out of 100 shots. Anybody else experiencing this?

Two no turbo drives w/ finish left. Finishing any other way would result in contact and a ******** double clutch. The type of layup per situation is what results in a good layup. If I was to have hit RS ^ i'm sure it would have resulted in contact. The first one I could have done hop step right but the defender was late anyways.

I know it's ridiculous when your player does a contact animation but I think it's a result of a bad layup decision. Just my opinion.

Re: Impossible to drive?

i can't stress enough how important it is to not only have a open lane for a drive, but to hit the right stick in the right direction. if you don't do these two things you'll end up with a hook shot or a lame contact 'layup'.

Re: Impossible to drive?

The problem is when you use another camera angle.

I use absolute for shots and I still get different animations, especially when the cpu is running the animations are slow, the wrong layup, the stop on a dime hook shots, or an unnecessary animation to get the shot challenged.

What's the right direction? Drive left push left?
