Dissertation request - game sound

Firstly, I'd like to apologise if this is in the wrong section of the forum or if I'm breaking the rules in anyway.

I'm currently writing a dissertation on the video game audio industry, and I'd like to gather the opinions of gamers about game sound. More specifically the commentary in the MLB The Show games.

I've played a couple of versions of the game myself (2010 and 2011), and I generally turn of the commentary as I don't feel the game needs it. So, I'm wondering what other people feel about the commentary.

Does the in-game commentary add to the immersion and your overall experience when playing the game?

Do you feel that the MLB The Show games are improved by the commentary in the game?

Have you noticed any improvements of the commentary over the years?

How would you like to see this area of the game improved in future releases?
