Question Vita Migration for The Show

How exacting is the carryover file achieved? I am at the point of purchase but do not want to buy this unless it works in away that I would enjoy it. Also, the 3G, personally, is not a need for me for the additional $50 and a wireless fee on top of that.

  • Is it by upload to the cloud only, requiring a plus account and more than likely a 3G Vita?
  • Or can you just sync it through connecting it to your PS3?
  • What games modes are available to carryover? (RTTS, Franchise, Diamond)

Basically for me I would like to upload my RTTS and franchise to mine Vita, without using the cloud, and play on the go. Once I am back home sync it back over to my PS3 and continue playing there. I have heard people say it works in different ways.... So with all that said is it a buy for me?

It's a different type of cloud to the one with ps plus. You just uploaded it from your ps3, where you save your file, then download to your ps vita. Works with franchise and rtts.

Vita doesn't have diamond dynasty.

I haven't had any problems with transferring my saves.

You don't need the 3G. Wifi works just fine. Not sure about connecting it to your ps3 as I have never tried that.

Do you really care where I sent this from?

Re: Vita Migration for The Show

So basically remote-play (better term than file carryover) is not need? It is just copying/syncing files back and forth? If remote-play is necessary then that is a killer for me. Crappy DSL is all I can get where I live!

Yes. No need for remote play. You are just transferring your save back and forth.

Good... I was worried that remote-play was required to play the game.
