Best teams to rebuild with?

I'm looking for a team to rebuild with on NBa 2k12. But I don't want that to be one of the teams already starting to rebuild, like the Wizards, TWolves, and Cavs. So if you can think of a team it would be greatly appreciated.

Suns Grant Hill will retire and Nash might, you should end up in the middle maybe making the playoffs, leaving an ok draft pick

Maybe Boston? Their stars are pretty old and you can trade them away for draft picks or something and rebuild the team around Rondo?

Spurs, Celtics, Suns, possibly the Lakers. Teams with older talents that are moving or have already moved past their primes. You could strain the roster for all the talent it has and try and make one last push in the first season or two, then rebuild, or just move straight into rebuilding mode from the get go by trading some of the older pieces around to teams who are looking to contend right away, and maybe lure some younger players, maybe even draft picks away from them. Always wanted to try this myself, I just tend to get guilty when trading away players who have made a career with one team.

Re: Best teams to rebuild with?

Hawks should be fun since they're like a team that will never win a championship but make the playoffs every year. No one on that team can be considered a keeper either. Gut the team and try and sign Howard in free agency. A Josh Smith/Dwight Howard 4/5 tandem is awesome. A Horford/Dwight twin towers would be pretty crazy too... or even a Smith/Horford/Howard frontcourt.

Not nearly as fun as trying to stockpile and build up young talent... but whatever.

I'd say Multi year rebuild: Hornets. Or go with the Hawks, grant J-Smoove his trade request and see what you can get. Or Keep J Smoove and the fat @$$ contract weighing down the team aka Joe Johnson.
