New to College Basketball Games

First and foremost, I don't want this to be a war between the 2k and the EA fans. I just want to know some questions before I choose which game I get.

I don't even know much about College basketball irl, but all this tournament talk on ESPN gave me an urge to want to buy one. I was wondering how many teams are in CH 2k8 and in NCAA Basketball 10. I like a lot of teams, because they give me a lot of variety. Also, which game has the more in dept presentation?
Thanks for your time.

edit: Oh, and also.. in any of them can you edit recruits when they come in as well as change their appearance, #, ect.

College Hoops 2k8 is one of the best basketball games ever. Go with it. 10x better than any EA college bball game. It just feels more like basketball than the EA counterparts.

Re: New to College Basketball Games

To be honest, I have both. I first bought 2K8 like 2 years ago, and like a user said, it is a great basketball game, can't give it the greatest title haha. But I'm sorry, I loveeeee presentation, so sadly, I just recently bought '10 by EA, the jerseys, the shoes, GUS JOHNSON!!!

Though 2K8 is a better game, you have to remember it's really what you're into. If you're into gameplay and playing 'the greatest basketball game ever' get 2K8 hands down. If you want presentation and all that hooplah EA gives you, get College Basketball '10.

But I'd just say get both lol, together its like $35 dollars so its like getting NBA 2K12 half off lol.

But personally, I prefer 2K8.

Re: New to College Basketball Games

I have 2K8 and 2010 as well, def. pros and cons to both. 2K has better gameplay, and just sounds better, while EA has better presentation and better graphics. I love both, but I would go 2K for the deeper dynasty mode, if thats your thing.
