Credit to toysoldier for inspiring me to do this loved his layout and figured I would follow, I also used his game template, slightly modified. Also credit to SCEA for creating such a game that I know I can finish a full season on.

St. Louis, MO - The Cardinals goal this year is to repeat as the World Series champions as would be any team that just won the World Series, but they will have to do it without all-world first baseman Albert Pujols.

Pujols who played his whole career up until this year with the Cardinals signed with the Los Angeles Angels in the off-season and put the Cardinals hurting for a little more power in the line up. The Cardinals did find some good power in Carlos Beltran as they picked him up in the off-season from the Mets.

Still the integral part of this Cardinals team is the pitching and the Cardinals return with some strong pitching. Chris Carpenter, Adam Wainwright, Kyle Lohse, and Jaime Garcia are four solid starters for the Cardinals and should anchor this team in their hopeful run to the playoffs.

Spring Training starts March 4th against the Orioles.
