Co-op, 4 players on same team?

Does Co-op allow 3 or 4 users to play on the same team this year?

The official site lists the player amount as 1-4 with up to 8 playing online. I would assume that means you can play 2v2 offline. That actually must be pretty fun having two on each side.

Darn, I was hoping this would be the year that they would get 4 player co-op (same team) into the game.

I think you can do 3-4 on same team? There are 4 slots on each side so it would make sense.

Nevermind bud, sorry. I don't know what I saw. There are only two slots on each side. I think the 4 controllers is what I saw. So 2v2 is probably all you could do.
