"Fist-pumping" moments.

Have you had any yet in '12?

I know it hasn't been officially out for 24 hours yet but in my first game I already had a stand up and fist pump moment. I was SD versus SF and it was a pitchers duel going into the bottom of the 8th between Edison Volquez and Matt Cain until I finally struck a rally, getting the first two guys on base, unfortunately the next two guys got on until Hudson masked an infield single bringing up the pitchers spot, obviously I was going to pinch hit and who else other than the returning Mark Kotsay, the Giants decided to keep Cain on the mound and got two quick strikes. I managed to foul off the next couple before Cain threw a fastball low and in that "missed." I then took the next offering and pelted it to right field where it bounced off the PETCO Porch and scored all 3 base runners and gave me the 3-0 lead which lead to a 3-0 win.

Any moments for you so far?

Re: "Fist-pumping" moments.

I got my first hit with Bautista after fouling 10 pitches on practice mode and missing a few other(and eventually realizing that I didn't make my settings the default, so I was on experienced lol)

I know this isn't what you're asking, but I DID have a fist-pumping moment last night as I walked out of GameStop with my PS3 and Vita Show copies!!!

The Mass Effecters must have thought I was nuts...

Re: "Fist-pumping" moments.

1) Winning my first game on the Vita, a back-and-forth style game vs. the Cards

2) Hitting a HR in Practice with the Move (Imagine what THAT would feel like in a real game!)

3) Striking someone out with the Move (because it's tough to hit the release point - not that it's laggy).

It's always more personally gratifying when you're physically involved.

Re: "Fist-pumping" moments.

Had an eleven pitch at-bat with polanco against Oviedo for the Marlins that ended with polanco doubling. I ended up losing the game, but it was such an intense at-bat as Oviedo cruised through the first two hitters in the 8th, that doubling off him after 11 pitches was a slight moral victory deserving of a fist-pump.

My non fist-pump moment had to be Dontrelle giving up a three run bomb to Morrison to give the Marlins the lead. My first game was a rollercoaster of emotions which is really cool as I've never been invested in any sports game like this game.

Re: "Fist-pumping" moments.

absolutely!

in my first game i was the cubs playing the cardinals. cards let 1-0 and it was the bottom of the 8th. Carpenter had (up to that point) pitched a no hitter. with 1 out, Soriano steps to the plate. get down in the count, but come back and the count is 1-2. i guess the next pitch, which is low fastball. i time the pitch perfectly and Soriano crushes the ball out to the left bleachers! it went to a cutscene with Soriano running the bases, fans cheering, and Carpenter (with a look on his face of absolute disgust ). i ended up winning the game 2-1. man this game rocks!
