Is there any lag online?

I read that there wasn't going to be any lag during online matches. Has anyone played online to confirm this? Thanks!

It'll probably depend on your connection with your opponent.

99% of the online lag was taken out with the big patch in 2K11. Only lag left is due to poor connections.

I just played online. Smooth as butter. Except for the foul ball slow down once in awhile.

I've been told you have only the traditional online options as were in MLB 2K11. That means you need to fill up a league to play with friends.

Can you see the pitches well enough to tell obvious balls and obvious strikes?

Last year what ticked me off was you had to guess swing a lot, but that got a lot better after the lag patch admittedly.

I played two games on a 12mb U-Verse connection.

The only noticeable lag was during fielding. If a hard line drive is hit to the outfield the lag is noticeable in providing ample time for your fielder to get into position.

Also, if you start out moving the player left and need to immediately head back right you will notice the lag, and fail to make it on time.
