2012 OSFM: Milwaukee Brewers

These were some thoughts I drew up a while ago off the top of my head.
Prospects *=40-Man **=40-man but might be on game.
Also assuming Mike Rivera, Cesar Izturis, and Travis Ishikawa are in the game.
Parra, Kintzler, Dillard, Estrada, and McClendon should be in.
A:
Tyler Thornburg P, Taylor Jungmann P, Jed Bradley P, Willy Peralta P*
B:
Amaury Rivas P*, Cody Scarpetta P**, Mike Fiers P*, Santo Manzanillo P*, Nick Ramirez IF, Kyle Heckathorn P, Scooter Gennett IF, Kentrail Davis OF, Jimmy Nelson P, Jorge Lopez P, Mark Rogers P (not sure what’s up with him could be in again).
C:
Frankie De La Cruz P**, Martin Maldonado C*, Eric Farris IF**, Zealous Wheeler IF*, Caleb Gindl OF*, Juan Perez P, Edwin Maysonet IF, Drew Gagnon P, Dvontrey Richardson OF, Khris Davis OF, Yadiel Rivera IF, Matt Miller P, Austin Ross P, Eric Arnett P, David Goforth P, Hunter Morris IF, Josh Butler P, Daniel Meadows P, Erick Almonte IF (might be in)
D:
Brock Kjeldgaard OF*, Anderson De La Rosa C, Nick Bucci P, Orlando Arcia IF, Brooks Hall P, Chris Dennis OF, Osmel Perez P, Rob Wooten P, Sean Halton IF, Adrian Rosario P, Efrain Nieves P, Cody Hawn IF, Josh Prince IF, Jacob Barnes P, Justin James P, Sam Narron P, Brendan Katin OF, Raul Mondesi Jr. OF
F:
Tyler Roberts C, Max Walla OF, Ruben Ozuna OF, Shawn Zarraga C, Mike Walker IF, Cameron Garfield C, Alan Williams P, Joey Paciorek C, TJ Mittelstaedt OF, Patrick Arlis C

I don't think Thornburg, Schafer, and Green are A prospects. Thornburg's ceiling seems to be as a reliever, Schafer is a 4th outfielder, Green may be league average. Jorge Lopez could be an A prospect. Many think he has the highest ceiling in the organization, just the farthest away at this point.

Schafer and Green are in the game. Thornburg I think is, after seeing what he did last year, and making the futures game.

Brewhaha, you seem to have a pessimistic outlook on the Brewers prospects. And the definition of "ceiling" is what people think they could be at-best. Thornburg's "ceiling" is not of a reliever. Schafer's "ceiling" is a starting CF and might've been one if the MLB team didn't have two CF'ers on the roster already, and Green was a top prospect in the organization, had a serious wrist injury and struggled for two years while it healed and is now performing at a top level again. The ceiling of all three of those guys is A-level in my opinion.

Do I think they're all going to pan out? Not necessarily, but their ceilings are high.

Please provide a link of someone saying Lopez has a higher ceiling than Bradley, Jungmann, or Peralta.

Arnett could be a b he's a tweeter between b and c really depends if he gets the fastball back again thus far he's been terrible but crews not giving up yet.

Scarpetta should be in game he appeared last year if I recall correctly as did fiers and de la Cruz.

Jimmy Nelson could be in the same boat as arnett I've seen the guy in Appleton and was unimpressed.

I do think an a is a bit high for Schafer and green, but given there advanced age it probably works into them being a late bloomer similar to Nelson Cruz.

Injury rating on mark Rogers should be changed to f immediately lol, sad cuz the guy has some good stuff.

Looks good with what you got though.

Oh and to those concened thornburg reminds some of a poor mans Tim lincecum small frame throws hard good movement workhorse with stats to boot.

As for Lopez he's very raw scary part is his potential is sky high. I think a b is good though giving him an a means he's a advanced 18 year old. Hes only pitched for 3 years he's got a ways to go.

Article seems to do a good job discussing brewers top 10 pitcher prospects.

I tend to agree with this post, outside of i disagree with Lopez being an A. Even Jed Bradley is more of high innings, #3-#4 starter project-able which i would say is a B. The Only true A's are Jungmann and Peralta in my opinion. Giving players like Schafer an A i think cheapens it for the truly good prospects.

I hope all these guys pan out as a brewers fan. I just think you guys are being pretty generous with the A potentials based where most scouting services has these players.
