Anyone know how to add kenyon martin to clippers roster for association mode

So I downloaded the first 2k roster from october to have kenyon martin available. Then I chose the nuggets for association moade and went to export team and saved the roster. I then loaded the latest roster update now and also loaded the export team so it has both clipper teams. I tryed to assign kenyon martin to the present clipper roster but it tells me i cannot assign players from export or created teams. Is there another way to get kenyon martin on the clippers?

the exported team should come from season mode not association.
