What makes the CPU draft better?

Hi all

I'm a madden vet but new to the slider game. I'm doing a one team franchise with a created cupcake team and simulating 3 seasons before I start to play and build my team.

Basically, my best player was my SS (84 ovr) and the CPU decided to take a SS in the first round (82 ovr) so the kid won't even play :s

Anything I can do ??

No answer here dude.....I do my own drafting...sometimes I control all 32 teams just to make them draft better and make better roster moves...a real problem in the game year after year.
