Few questions about NHL 2k8 for PS2

I just bought this game, and so far I'm having a blast with it. But I'm a little confused about few things, and I was hoping you could give the answers.

1. Does the PS2-version of NHL 2k8 have the franchise freezing bug?
2. Does anyone have a direct link to some good sliders? (I'm currently using Venom's 360(?) sliders.)
3. How do the goalie dekes work? I've been trying to do them with L1+right stick, but I can't get a shot off.

Can't say for sure if it has the freezing issue, but I wouldn't be suprised if you did experience some freezes. It's a classic 2K Hockey issue. If you're using VeNom's that's really all you need. He's one of the best slider guys out there. The manual should give you list of what buttons to push for the dekes. It's all contextual as well, so if your player is not is good position or enough, he won't try the deke. If it's not in the manual try looking in the menu section of the game. Somewhere in there I believe there is a manual of sorts as well. I never owned the PS2 version so I'm kind of going off my PS3 version.

Actually the manual is being pretty brief about goalie dekes. I think the only instructions were "L1+ right stick". I tried searching youtube for instructional videos, but there were none available. I think I'd better just hit the practice mode, and try to sort it out myself.

Ok, here's the list of "Superstar Moves" and the buttons to pull them off. Not sure if they are possible in the PS2 version or not or if the list is in the manual or not but anyways...While Holding L2(which may be L1 for the PS2).
