Does anyone play this game with no slider adjustments

or very little adjustments? I want to start a franchise, but 2k games always give you this constant slider adjustment cycle when you can't stop adjusting.

I'm just curious, as I haven't played any games vs the CPU if you can get competitive and real life simulation like games without sliders.

I have been playing with no slider adjustments the past few days and its been great. I had figured out a lot of nuances about the game after experimenting with a few slider sets.

Now I'm loving the default because all the issues I was having with my shooting or my ability to play D has actually went away now I've gon back to default.

Yes, it's possible to play the game and get very realistic results without slider adjustments. I made one slight change - changed my Offensive Rebounding attribute to about 75, because I wasn't seeing enough offensive rebounds. I've since turned it down to 65 and that seems to be a good spot for it. I'll keep experimenting with it though.

But overall, it's very possible to play with no slider adjustments. The game plays very well out of the box and it's great for my franchise/association.

Edit - Oh, I also changed shooting sliders for both teams. Took everything down to about 47 and it seems to work well there. Again, still experimenting, but teams seem to shoot anywhere between 43 and 52% this way, with the occasional anomaly.

Well I don't use custom sliders but in my player I play on simulation sliders.

So far All-Star/Pro with Sim Sliders from the game are pretty good, but I've had to search for other options since the gameplay compared to 2K11 imo is a downgrade...

The main problem I had with Default Sliders was a lack of Fouls. And having Kobe scoring 50 pts a game due to the high Clutch settings.
So I think I ended up going with Tombas sliders eventually.
Also, BEWARE!! You have to set your playcalling on Auto AFTER Tipoff in Association. For some reason it shifts back to manual in game mode.
And I guess you're aware that USER sliders are actually the visiting team.

I like Pro/Sim if I play offline.

All-Star/Sim with a 5 point decrease in the opponents offensive rebounding.
