no contested jumpshot animation in NBA 2k12?

When i go to roster to edit players signatures, I notice there is a contested jumper animation for every player. My question is why do I never see a contested jumper during a game.

In last years game (NBA 2K11) if a player was guarding you real closely the offensive player would initiate a contested jumpshot animation, which looked really nice.

This was a great addition to the NBA 2K franchise. Am I missing something? Is there something Im doing wrong?

I think it's still there, not sure if it's the signature contested jump shot or a generic one for all players but I was playing my friend who had the Nets and on back to back possessions I contested his mid range shot with Okur really good and he had an awkward release on both, only made the first though.

How does one shoot the awkward contested jumpshot release. Last year, if you were being guarded real close, you would see an off balance contested jumper.

Its a small detail but I've grown used to it and now the game just doesnt feel the same without it.

It's there. No idea why you aren't seeing it.

But it's def. in there. Using custom rosters or default?
