Your favorite batting style.

Right now I have got Pure Analogue hitting down to a science, I mess up sometimes just like you would swinging in real life but Pure Analogue is my favorite way to bat. I hope original Pure Analogue is in MLB 12 im pretty sure it is, i'm not sure if I will use the Zone Analogue where you select the zone with left stick and swing with right.

Re: Your favorite batting style.

I like Timing Only hitting.

And, as far as that goes, I also like Auto fielding and sometimes baserunning, and the Classic pitching interface. I'm even known to use MOM mode from time to time.

I pretty much like to remove myself from the equation as much as possible. Because, well, "myself" generally sucks...

Big time!

Re: Your favorite batting style.

I use button hitting and I take off the guess pitch option. I tried analog for a while but it felt way to much like the computer was deciding whether or not I deserved a hit.

Analog fielding was a wash for me. Tried it, couldn't turn a double play and errors were flying around all over the place. I went back to the button method and it at least seemed fair... to me at least.

I use analog pitching because it feels like I'm more in control of what comes out of the pitchers hand. Not the computer.

Maybe a little too much info there.

If anything button hitting would feel as if the computer decides I have got analogue down, with analogue you have to swing inside or outside to select the zone as well as have good timing, the easiest hitting ever was in MLB 2001 it was just timing pretty much.
