Durant or Westbrook?

Rick Bucher of ESPN wrote an article recently about how Russell Westbrook is the Thunder's best player, not Kevin Durant. He makes the case that although Durant is a better shooter/scorer, Westbrook has more of an effect on all other areas of the game.

But would a GM really take Westbrook over Durant if he had a choice? What do you guys think?

A GM would be a complete *** if he took Westbrook over Durant. I like Russ for the most part, but he's not KD.

I can actually see this coming soon. He's not one to try to make his teammates better. He has to have a ready made team. See first trade request and look at team b4 Pau Gasol. The gave him Pau for nothing to shut him up.

Westbrook isn't even the best PG in the league. He isn't even top 3. Durant on the other hand is the best scorer in the league. There's a reason why a lot of GM's and basketball people would take him over anyone else. It pretty comes down to him and LBJ right now with some others floating in the discussion and no way Westbrook is one of them.

Plus this is a Bucher article. This is how the guy has a job there by making articles like these. Along with Hollinger.
