Association Practise Schedule

I want to hear from you guys what you're doing when it comes to practise schedule during an association. I tend to not schedule them at all. The reason behind that, is that I prefer to play with what I got. Because by not scheduling pracise, the players will stay in the rating they was when the season started. I play without chemistry on, so ratings will stay like they are at the start of the season, and I haven't seen any opposing players get a rating boost during a season, so I'm guessing that they don't use them as well, so I don't either to ensure that I don't get an edge over the CPU.

I don't use the development points either, because I believe that they can be used in the wrong way. Because you can make a decent player that never would've been a great three point shooter into a deadly one with development points.

What are you guys doing? I'm a way off with my hypothesis on pracise and development points? I just kind off like to have my players progress in the off-season based on their potential rating.
