NFL 2K5: PS2 version vs XBOX 360 version

I was wondering if NFL 2K5 on XBOX 360 has better graphics and such than the PS2 version? I am guessing so but have no idea. I was wondering because I was thinking about buying a 360 for the exclusives then immediately thought of how easy the files were for xbox 360 (and how many more there are).

So, is there any difference for those who have played both?

The only 2K football game available for Xbox 360 is All Pro Football 2K8. However, you can get the Xbox version of ESPN NFL 2K5, and it will be playable on an Xbox 360.

If you don't have a hard drive for the PlayStation 2, the differences are insurmountable on the visual front, and the Xbox version is clearly superior. The graphics alone are already better (more detailed jerseys, padding, grass textures, smoother rendering, better framerate, richer colors, etc). If you are into highlights, the halftime shows and SportsCenter clips will also be available for the Xbox version, as well as the PS2 version only if you have an HDD with it. Also, the Xbox version allows you import custom soundtracks stored on your HDD (not sure if this is available for the PS2 w/ HDD).

I can't find any images online of the PS2 version, but the Xbox version dominates it in every facet. Running it on a 360 might allow for 720p upscaling, which won't really mean much with a game like this, but is still better than not upscaling, I suppose.

how do u download the newest roster for the espn2k5 football game for the playstation 2.. what all would i need to do

You would need to get Take Two to open up the servers again...

In other words you can't from the PS2/PS3.

The game looks better on my xbox on a 480p standard tv than on my xbox 360 on hdtv.
