Yeah trade nash. He has value and either retires year 1 or plays for 3 more years. If you want to be fair though don't use trade finder on Nash. You'll get some crazy cheap trades. Use it on a player you really want to be a part of the Suns future and try to work Nash in.

Re: Phoenix Suns association

Pretty much blow the team up. If you want to keep their fast-break style then try to obtain players like Flynn and Randolph who don't get enough playing time on their current squads and develop nicely. Only starters I'd keep are Gortat and Brown, not a big Morris fan so I'd move him.

The thing about trading Nash is you don't want to get TOO much back for him as it would be cheap, and you want to realistically send him to a contender missing a PG such as the Knicks, Heat, or Lakers. Maybe try a 3-team trade where you move Nash + a guy like Warrick, Frye, or Dudley who have rough contracts for a decent young player + draft pick.

Same goes with Grant Hill who could be moved to good teams needing a SF upgrade (Lakers)

It seems like Steve Nash retires after the 1st season every time. I would maybe move him at the deadline in a 3-way trade. Move him to the best team w/o a PG.
