Should playoff stats be added to a players career stats?

What do you think? Should Drew Brees continue to add to his passing yardage in the playoffs? Should we take past playoff performances and add them to players stats to give Jerry Rice even more rediculous records to break? Or would you rather keep them seperate and why?

Well they cant add it to a regular season record. That would be nonsense.

It would be unfair to add the playoff statistics to the regular season because all 32 teams and players aren't given the same amount of games to compete for those records.

But you could add them just to the career records. For single season it would really make no sense, for the whole career, I would like it.

If a player plays in the post season, and loses in the conferance championship they have nothing to show for it. They should be recognized for making the post season and what better way than to give them those stats that they worked for and earned.

Career stats maybe, but not adding on to regular season stats as that would skew a lot of records.

Super Bowls are the only important stat in the postseason. Ask any player.
