The 93rd NFL Season

The 93rd NFL Season

Hello there everyone! I've finally decided to start my dynasty that I have been planning to do since.. Yeah, I forget. Anyway, I wanted to do something a bit different.

Rather than playing as one team and keeping everybody up to date with all the other news, I will play as all teams and keep everybody up to date with what's going on.

How will it work? I probably a game or two per NFL week, and they will most likely be the ones featured. I haven't yet figured out which ones to feature yet. I will also keep you all up to date with latest significant injuries, signings, releases, off-season stuff and more!

Here's the settings I am using:

Qtr Length: 12 minutes
Sim Injuries: Off (Waaaaaay too many injuries with this on)
Injuries: On
Salary Cap: Off
Trade Deadline: On
Slider Set: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Controlling all 32 teams, all user controlled.

So without further delay, lets begin!

Crashlanding
Jets Implode, Ryan & Schottenheimer Out

Rex Ryan, who was hired by the New York Jets in 2009, is out. As is Brain Schottenheimer.

The firing comes after the Jets had one of their most disappointing seasons ever, finishing with a record of 2-14. Two missed shots at the Super Bowl, and a lost season, along with many problems on the offense, was enough for Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum to make the tough call.

"We greatly appreciate everything Coach Ryan has given to this organisation over the past three seasons. His support for the players, his commitment to the team, and energy and passion for the game make him one of the best coaches I have ever had the pleasure of serving with. I wish him the best in his future travels."

Brian Schottenheimer was also fired. Fans had been calling for the move for a long time, and after the Jets historically bad offense, his time in New York came to an expected end. The Jets ranked 30th in offense, accomplishing next to nothing.

The Jets did retain defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, who's defense was among the best in the league, ranking 6th.

Meanwhile, Mark Sanchez' future is left up in the air, with no idea whether he will be starting or not next year, or if he will even be with the team. Failing to step up in year three did not do him any justice.

It's going to be a long season for the Jets.

Breaking News

Dolphins Hire Les Miles
LSU Coach to Take Next Step in Career

The Miami Dolphins made their move. They have hired now former LSU Coach Les Miles. The news was unexpected, with only a few names on the list of candidates. Among them, long time coach Jeff Fisher, and OC Pete Carmicheal.

"We are excited to have Coach Miles on board. He wished to take the step to the next level, and we needed a coach. It worked perfectly for both of us. He has had much success in Louisiana, and we hope that carry's over here in Miami". GM Jeff Ireland hopes it's the next step in taking Miami back to the glory days.

Only time will tell.
