Unlocking 45 Legends in NBA 2K12 (PS3)

Just use the roster you downloaded from 2k share, then do this.

1) Assign the players you want to use from the FA list to a current team(any team doesn't matter)

2) start a season(must be season, association will not work for this) with that team make sure auto save is off before you start(last option in the season settings menu)

3) Export that team

4) re-set roster

5) load the team and then assign the players to the team you want

Every time I try to do this I get the message that the exported team is a created team and I cannot move players from that team. Are there certain players from the legend dlc that this does not work with. I am trying to do a create a legend with 2003 Tracy McGrady, but I want to do it with the most current 2k rosters and I cannot figure out how to get it to work.
