Unable to link to YouTube

After creating the my 2k account I chose the "add Youtube option", nothing happened. Then now if I want to go and add it manually from nba2k.com:

Account settings -> YouTube Account Name:Add

When I press on add either it asks me to log back in with my 2k account or it loads and empty page with the following link

http://www.nba2k.com/youtube_callbac...5N4baRXpRTKCTE

Any help?

I have had this problem since the game came out. Can't connect to Youtube or Twitter. All of this would have been avoidable if they simply put the embed code on their OWN WEBSITE.

Ok, this may not be the best solution - but it will help overcome the fact that whomever designed the 2k site did not include a download function (probably to save bandwidth and pass all that server stress over to YouTube with the expectation this would work).

Use Firefox.

First, find your video in the NBA2k.com site. Either look for it being uploaded recently or log in and check out your own media. I have to assume you can do this much at the least.

Once you've selected your video, it will begin playing. Right-Click slightly off to the side of the video edge and select "View Selection Source."

A new box will come up. In it, you will have a link that looks like this:

Find that link, copy and paste it in a new window. You video will slowly load. Then, you can go to file -> save page as in your browser. This will save the entire video file to your computer which you can then upload to your YT account.

Again, while this is not the best solution, it's a workaround to allow you to start getting your highlights and sharing them with the rest of us.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I don't see a link similar to that. I see "View Page Source" and "View Page Info" but not a selection source. The Page Info shows a bunch of html or something and the Info looks nothing close to what you described. Tried clicking all around the vid and didn't see it. Is there a specific spot I need to do it at?

Hmm... you're right. It's tricky.

The best way to do it is select the text that says "Now Viewing" in this manner:

Click and drag upwards from the G and try and overlap the video a tiny bit. If you did it right you can then right click and get the appropriate menu with the option "View selection source."

If you did it incorrectly you will only see this:

Do it correctly and you should see a large wall of text. You can search that by pressing Ctrl+F.
