Use Showcase Legends in My Player / CAL?

Is there a way to use the Legens from Legends Showcase that are not assigned to a team in the Create a Legend Mode? e.g. Shawn Bradley?

Is it possible to use any of the Legends in My Player Mode and start with them at younger age?

I´m playing on Ps3...
