how to get new roster update if you have DL class??

Kinda new here. Got a question.

Im using a downloaded roster from 2kshare, and i was wondering how to go back to the original roster so I can get the updates for the new trades/rookies/FA's?

and also when you get the new rookies is it their original faces that come up when you scroll on their name, or still the "cyber" version of it?
