I just want to give a big shout out to Derek Rose for not joining the, "I want to only play with superstars and create another freaking superteam club." Man, i respected you before, but i look at him in a new light. I know the bulls are talented, but he easily could have joined the knicks, heat, lakers, etc. Glad he stuck it out.

Tired of this era of nba where every superstar only wants to play with friends, superstars, and blah, blah.

Way to lead by example Rose, i hope others follow! We all know NBA needs it. Anyways, off my soapbox now.

he's only been in the league for 3 years..as if his GM would have cared what he demanded, anyway. I have no problem with guys doing what they're doing - especially if their franchises are making no attempt to get better.

Chris Paul has been carrying New Orleans for years now. Chris Bosh carried Toronto for several years. LeBron carried Cleveland for what? 7, 8 years? Carmelo wasn't getting any help in Denver. Dwight Howard's GM blew up his team that went to the Finals.

If any of these guys' owners or GM's had made a real attempt to get better, then yeah, you can complain about these guys wanting to join other stars. But, when they suffer through years of mediocre teammates and no sign of a change, I have no issue with it.

Love Rose attitude an the way he goes about his business but I'm sure if he's been struggling on a mediocre team an never making it to the finals 6+ seasons he might join the play with friends bandwagon. Luckly he has a good team around him.

I was certain that Derrick Rose was going to be a head case when he came out of Memphis. I'm glad I was wrong. He's a great guy and a great leader. The perfect person to build your franchise around.
