World Juniors Roster

Just wondering, has anyone ever made custom World Juniors rosters for any NHL games? Seems possible by moving all the players in the tournament to their National teams, just a lot of work. Another reason why the NHL series should have roster sharing....oh well. If anyone is making a World Juniors roster for the upcoming tournament, post here!

That would be a great idea. I imagine you could do a lot of them pretty easily, minus the Russians and US college kids and some others. Xbox 360 please!

Re: World Juniors Roster

Back on NHL '99 and 2000 (Lindros and Pronger covers), I created entire teams starting from 1982 (Canada's Program of Excellence). I created any Canadians, while editing those that were in the game to be the right age. I also created the entire teams of medal winners, half of the players or more from teams 4-8 (until 1996 was an 8 team tourney).

I had a whole formula, and kept a lot of crazy stats. I believe I made it from 1982-1993 or so over the 2 years.

As for currently, it'd be MUCH MUCH easier to make current rosters, but there'd be several teams that would have almost no one available (Denmark, for instance would have only a few guys like N. Jensen).

Thanks, Porky.

DMac, that's a cool idea. I bet you would have some really good games. Also, splitting teams by region within North America would be fun as well. You may have given me an idea.

Re: World Juniors Roster

That would be awesome if you did, Matt!

I went to Petrpuck's site, but didn't see anything about a "Skrody" or the World Juniors rosters....

Re: World Juniors Roster

I'm doing this at the moment. Currently, I'm done with Finland, Sweden and Canada. If someone is willing to help, contact me with PM. I'm thinking that I should pass Latvia and Denmark because of the CAPs limit which is about 150.

Also, I'mn not just do rosters, but increase/decrease ratings, edit goalie equipments, set correct jersey numbers and captains and even do a music pack.

By myself, this is going to take a lot of hours and that's way I'm asking help.
