Thumbs up JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders *UPDATED*

UPDATED AS OF: 1/29/2012

First off I would like to give credit to Playmakers & dfos81 as I based my sliders off of these guys' findings.

Something you need to know for this slider set is that you must use the 100 QBA range that Playmakers used. I use it a little different though. I add up the Short Throw Accuracy (SAC), Medium Throw Accuracy (MAC), Deep Throw Accuracy (DAC), and the Awareness (AWR) of the starting QB of the teams in use then divide by 4. The HUMAN controlled team (you) will use the low-end part of the QB, the CPU will use the high-end part of their QB. Here is an example:
If I'm using Josh Freeman I would add up his SAC (87), MAC (82), DAC (77), and his AWR (75). I would then divide the total by 4. It would come out to 80.25. If Josh Freeman was in the cpu controlled team I would input 80 into CPU QB Accuracy (since 80.25 rounded is 80). If you were to use Josh Freeman on the human controlled team (your team) you would subtract 80 from 100 (100-80) and get 20. You then input 20 into Human QB Accuracy.

Here is a link for more information on this: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-accuarcy.html

Two things you should know.
1. These are meant for FRANCHISE, not exhibition (they play differently)
2. On defense play with ONE PLAYER (or just watch the play as I do) until the play is over (you can ruin the play)

Now onto the sliders

Re: JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders

I have been to hell and back with sliders. I'm going to give these a try tonight at first i was using playmakers they work and feel really well in just play game mode but when you go to season mode they seem to play differently and give different results that I don't like. Its always seems when I play against ray rice he has like 130 rushing yards in the first and I'm the steelers. I'm not the best madden player but I've been playing since sega so I don't know what the heck is going on. I never can seem to get the running game right either to easy to defend against or then ray rice slips off my guys for like and 80 yard run annoying one after another.

Re: JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders

JB, I dont control any players on the team I use (Steelers). I just either use gameflow or I pick play and then I hike the ball and let the computer take over. With that being said, I've wondered what to set both sets of sliders to since I dont control any players...would I set both HUM and CPU to what sliders you've provided for CPU settings or should I set the sliders to HUM for both HUM and CPU?

I cant help but think that since I dont control any of the players that I should just set the both sliders to CPU settings. It seems to me that it doesnt make any sense to set HUM sliders to the HUM settings since I'm not controlling any players.

I will try it both ways, but I was just curious about what your take is.

Re: JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders

I haven't tried playing that way, but it would seem right to put both on the CPU sliders.

Re: JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders

With me raising the DT priority, DT's get less pass rush now. I also raised LB priority and dropped rush awareness so plays like the wild-cat and misdirection runs work like they should. As for raising RB, TE, WR priority, it helps players block and fight for the ball a bit. I also raised CB awareness so WR & TE don't always get the ball in a jump ball scenarios. I feel that I'm really close to perfecting this slider set for realism (gameplay & stat wise).

Re: JB's Realistic Gameplay Franchise Sliders

Just wanted to tell you one of the best sliders I have seen to date, played a game SF me vs Steelers and I have seen things in this game now that I have never seen. The score ended up being 38-30 San Fran.
Stats
Smith=78.5pass rating 17/33 3 tds 3 picks
gore=36 att 134 yds 1 Td no fum
V.Davis= 9 Rec 237 yards 3 Tds 80 being the longest
every other WR had 3 or less Rec
No sacks or Pancakes
Defence
C.Rodgers 8 total with Willis at 7 total
6 sacks for all players and 1 INT
I did notice Left side of field J.Smith and Aldon smith had 3 Tackles all together which is concerning and FS had only 2 last game he had 8, Not sure what is up with that.
Kicking Great and Returns Great.
Steelers
Roethlisberger 83.4 18/27 287 1 Td 2 picks
Mendenhall 17 att for 18 yds 3 TDs Worries me,lol
M.Wallace 6 Rec 145 yds 1 TD
H.Ward 4 Rec 26 yds 0 TD
A.Brown 4 Rec 72 yds 0 TD
O-Line 5 sacks 0 pancakes thought I had 6 hmm
Timmons and Harrison both had 9 Tackles Taylor had 7
2 sacks and Harrison 1 pick W.Gay 1 pick C.Heyward 1 pick
Odd my o-line said no sacks weird
kicking and punting Great and Returns
