guarding dirk?!?

Ok, i just played my friend in 2k12 at his house, we have our own league, he uses dirk and fadaways with him and its money, he went 14-18 for 28 points and i end up losing by like 17, i had gasol on him the whole time and i usaully have good defense but i need advice on how to guard dirk especially in the post... should i switch noah on him next time cuz he has bynum as his center.

probably have to make him give it up with a double team, there isnt a man on earth who can defend his fadeaway

yea i was thinking about doing that when i lost to him, my lineup is rose,melo,battier,gasol,noah, who should i double with? my center? the thing is his style of play is lead passing and getting guys to cut so he can pass to them. Should i have battier guard dirk? since his post d is very good or rather have noah guard him?

I have the same problem against my cousin. I always double team Dirk with my centre! or use a guy to try steal it off him!

Cant really guard Dirk in real life Try double teaming and getting a hand up in his face.

I usually just bring my guard over and as soon as he puts in on the floor I try to strip it. Just try to stop the teams momentum, and create your own, you'd be surprised on how much it'll help your defense ad destroy their offense

Yep, welcome to the real world. Nobody can guard Dirk in real life, either.
