Greetings Racers!

So release is very very near and I know enough of you OSers here have the connections to get games early, so who here already got it and how good is this?

I am seriously concerned about this, having loved last year's HP, I haven't heard anything about the game. I am even more intrigued about the MP, whats on there?

Boy it sure is quiet in here...no one interested?

I am getting a little worried with this given its only 3 days till release or so and there's no reviews or anything.

I liked what I played of the demo.

The driving seemed more challenging than last year's title.

Unless it just gets slammed in most reviews for something I wasn't able to see in the demo, I plan on getting it.

Well we're getting some initial reviews/impressions in and brothers..they dont look no where near as positive as last year's HP.

IGN's "preview to the review" says its "ok":

And game informer just gave this a 7.5.

Now all I need is someone trust from OS to tell us what they think so I know if I should be focusing on dragons and my Jets franchise instead of this.

Yeah. I was kind of looking at this title too but so far its been pretty quiet. I've seen reviews for other titles coming out next week like Rayman and Saints Row but so far nothing about NFS.

The GI review basically said the stuff EA has been promoting as a "story" is unengaging and nothing more than a few out of place quick time events. The seemed to like the racing and environments but didn't feel the modes mixed it up enough or the tracks had enough verity or big moments like the demo's avalanche. They didn't talk much on MP which seem like it might be where this game shines the most. It seems like the driving style and tracks would make for some good online fun.

Oh, and as a 360 owner I am disappointed to hear the PS3 gets a half dozen exclusive cars.

Well them reviews are slowly trickling in:

Gameinformer gave it a 7.5 (up on metacritic)
and Gametrailers gave it a nice 8 and change!

Graphics on this game are incredible (PC Version)

Controls are fantastic, and it's overall a great game. Just from the beginning it lets you know, it's going to be a fun ride from the escape to the first race.

Story jumps off right from the top and let's you know they want a serious theme.

Sound has glitches because they use a mixer for the settings, giving you racing sound and Hollywood sound mixed together!

I have a video converting now and will upload to Youtube later tonight..
