2k12 Rookies

I haven't bought this game yet because of the lockout so im hoping someone who has it can help me out. The main reason i play 2k is for association mode, and association mode without this years rookies is just not gonna happen but that's besides the point.

What i want to know is how the randomly generated rookies look in 2k12. In 2k11 there wasn't much variety and i just HATED the way the competer generated rookies looked. I'd say 8 out of 10 faces were what i called the "ugly rookie face" and only 2 out of 10 looked believable. So anyways how do they look?

As for the real rookies all I can say is if you have Xbox Live/PSN download a rookie roster. There is a glitch for if you download a cyberface roster (All the rookies faces are on the disc ,but not their bodies) but all the white players bodies will still be black. I downloaded a workaround for this that makes the teams secondary color to the white (or lightskinned) rookie on the teams skin color and gives them full sleeves so it looks like it's their skin. I'm doing my Clippers association with them and having a great time.

As for the generated rookies ,in My Player there are the gen rookies in the rookie showcase and they get drafted, but once your in the season the only rookies are you, ricky rubio ,and robert vaden. I guess this is so they can easily put the real rookies in the game. If you have a rookie roster downloaded however they will be in the rookie class with you. The generated rookie faces from last year I agree were horrendous. You say 8/10 were "ugly" i'd sat maybe 3/10 are "ugly" this year. I've yet to see a rookie with white skin and an afro or a black guy with dreads and a handlebar mustache with random tattoos. I think the tendencies and whatnot are inconsistent with them with rookies from a generated draft class, but if you want to go with the gen rookies there are downloadable draft classes with fake rookies ,but more realistic skills/attribute.

hope this helped and if you get the game I hope you have fun with it. I've seen alot of people having major AI problems on OS ,but i'm having fun with 2k12 and have had no problems whatsoever other than stupid trade logic that I hope will soon be patched.
