Has anyone else seen this?

I have worked through a lot of my issues with the cpu and my only real gripe is this. Sometimes, the computer is able to make the most impossible shots. I just finished a game where the LA Clippers were consistently making tough, well defended shots. When I went back to review the recording, 65% of shots rated D+ or lower in quality went in the basket. I have no problem with players making tough shots but not that many when I can't make them. Anyone else experiencing this?

Granted I'm playing:
All Star
Default Simulation Sliders
12 minute quarters

Sov, I see it in practicing post plays on defense. With hotspots and momentum considered, I still think they are getting an artificial boost on the abilities.

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

yeah, the last memorable one was Paul pierce backing up to half court while the shot clock is whining down and hits basically a half court shot.

Why don't you just lower shooting sliders?

Sarcasm, you have to love it. Well, the proper answer would be that I play a majority of my games online so if I get use to playing with adjusted sliders, it will not translate well when I'm playing online. I understand the reason for adjusting sliders offline and creating an experience that fits your playing style. I get that. I would rather the game play right out of the box and it is actually pretty close. I don't think it's too much to ask for the cpu not to hit so many D+ or lower shots. I think that's a rather reasonable request, don't you?

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

The thing that helped my defense a ton is to switch to the guy challenging the shot. By design, a user challenging a shot affects it more than a cpu challenge for your team. Sometimes a weak challenge by you is even better than a pretty good challenge by the cpu. I play mostly online association against the cpu with buddies, but it still seems to work the same when I play online. The key is anticipating when the shot is going up. Jump too soon, and it's as if you didn't challenge or you'll get called for a foul. Too soon on the user control and Kobe or Melo types are likely to smoke you with ridiculous dribble moves. Mix it up and see what works for you.

Re: Has anyone else seen this?

Also, it seems pretty clear from user feedback that the CPU in particular is much better at making buzzer beaters than any other shots. It's weird, since it really works against you if you play tight D. Last night, in My Player, I was on Jason Kidd like white on rice for the first half and he kept draining these desperation shots at the buzzer. So I eased up and gave him the 3-point line and he started clanking them.
