Faceoff kick out

After seeing some threads talking about faceoffs, how they work now, and realising how different the system is, and how much has evolved from past NHL games, I noticed that I haven't seen a referee kick out a center taking the faceoff a single time.

I suppose that the feature it's not in the game but confirmation would be appreciated :P

If it's in the game, it ain't in the game.

ok, thanks!
I hope they put it into the game soon..
Doesn't seem the hardest task to do, but I dunno, it would add another very realistic feature to the game, as IRL it happens so often..

Re: Faceoff kick out

I wish they would replicate the 2K10 face-off system. Enough of this rock, paper scissor stuff. I want a full blown physics based, fully control your stick face off system where you can get penalized or kicked out if you jump the gun.

Oh, and I would also like the option to win the face-off over to my wingers. It doesn't always have to go back to the D. SMH

Agreed 100% on the winger situation!
How did the 2k system work? I never got a chance to play the 2k hockey games

The main difference is the feeling that you are actually controlling your stick, deciding when to put it on the ice and when to swipe or tie-up for the puck. There is less randomness to it which makes it more intuitive.

It's not perfect by any means but it is better than what we are seeing in NHL 12.
