Talking Rebuilding the ownerless hornets!

So I've messed around with a few teams already in association.. some reg teams and some drafted, but now I'm thinking about doing one with trying to rebuild a team from the ground up who might be struggling or who is getting old and needs a revamped roster. Well I may have found one that really stands out and that's the N.O. hornets. I mean Ive thought about who I should select in rebuilding for a little while now and then it dawned on me that this team isn't even owned by an official owner right now! The league owns them. Well guess what, "I'm buying the hornet" today baby! I don't have any attachment fan wise to the team, as I'm an avid cavs fan. But I do like the team as it is now and I can really put my GMT hat on with them I believe as they have a solid mix of vets and a few nice young players, and of course the cp3 factor is always nice but anyways any tips on how I should go about this? Or what type of trades I should make? I know of a couple people I know I'm going to be shipping out prob before the season even starts, guys like David west and ariza are prob sure to be sent out in a trade, possibly even Emek too as I look to build torwds the future. I'm also still debating weather or not if I should cut ties with the great cp3 and take this dynasty in a new direction with either a diff star, or a nice package of solid young players. So any advice or feedback would be great. I'll also update this thread as I play games but I won't start playing games til tomorrow, just trying to get a feel for the roster and reshape the team tonight!

If you want a real problem use the Bobcats they're downright horrible.

Trade CP3 and Okafor to the clips for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al Aminu, Bledsoe and Randy Foye

or

Trade CP3 and Okafor to the blazers for Oden, Matthews, Felton and Batum

Re: Rebuilding the ownerless hornets!

I'm not a Hornets fan, not sure what their roster is but I'd keep CP3.. and build around him..

maybe do as others say and have a fire-sale ie: Okafor and try to get a better (top 10) pick in the draft or something

but yeah.. rebuilding doesn't always mean get rid of everyone, CP3 is a cornerstone imo

Some nice trade ideas here bro, thanks! But as far as the blazers senerio goes, I like it but I would prob sub either Gerald Wallace OR lamarcus in for Matthews and batum. Or maybe I could pull a deal for felton, Roy, lamarcus and oden..... for cp3 okafor and d.west? This seems nice plus it seems fair u think that would fly with the blazers?

True. I'm really not sure which way I'm gonna go in the cp3 situation just yet. Heck ill prob just end up keeping him and seeing how good we are doing in the season going into the trade deadline then just decide from there if I should trade him for pieces or picks. But that is true tho he is a cornerstone player in the league and there really aren't but maybe 5-8 in the league right now so in a way I'm lucky to have such a great player on such an average nba team. plus he's only 26 and just entering his prime.
