Are you overclocking, by any chance? I had two CTD's while overclocking before I went back to normal speeds - some games are just more sensitive to it than others...

Nah, not overclocking (I'm on a laptop).

I'm wondering if it has to do with the DS3 tool?

This nonsense just happened to me again. I'm not overclocking at all, never have on any PC game but this is the second or third time since I've had the game that it has crashed to the desktop.
