Having played 2k12 obsessively for a while now I'm starting to think that this game carries many flaws. Things like driving to the basket, defending the basket, my players trade logic among many many other small issues are all starting to suck the life out of the game. 2k11 may not be as refined in gameplay terms, i.e. smoothness, realism, but as an overall working package 2k11, for me anyway, is probably the better game. So here's a quick poll to see what the community thinks, place your votes.

Graphically I love 2K12 especially the make-overs for many player faces. But functionally, 2K11 was a better game.

No, technically 2k12 is definitely the better game. It's very similar to 2k11 but with added improvements(the post game is much better, presentation is way better and more realistic, more teams, less morphing). 2k11 i could drive in the lane at will. 2k12 i find myself not getting what i want all the time. HOWEVER, pretty much all of the flaws from 2k11(bad ai, rebounding, horrible passing system, broken my player) have carried over to 2k12, along with some new flaws(players backing off their man for no reason and going in the paint to do nothing, good ball handlers losing the ball for dumb reasons too often like dribbling it off a teammate's leg)

Also you mention trade logic but that was just as broken last year, that' something(like passing and rebounding) that 2k doesn't seem to try to improve because it's been bad year after year.

Its so funny watching all these idiots say their gonna trade in 2k12 and go back to 2k11. Wait for the patch everyone, it will get better.

The game can only be judged in comparison till the patch comes out.

I respect your opinion but don't refer to us as "idiots" please. Also I'm not trading in 2k12 for 2k11, I'm waiting for the patch.

I think 2k11 had better balance, excluding the hop step and spin dunks.

The new jump shooting and post game makes it impossible for me to go back though. I'm also a fan of the new isomotion, though I'm hoping it's tuned in the patch. There's a bit of a delay when you try to explode out of many of the moves.
