OBG's Amazing All-Star Sliders

With these sliders, all I can say is that this game ROCKS my butt.

Credit must be given to whomever it was that came up with the speed theory of upping the game speed and lowering acceleration as it really has made for a great game of hockey.

Here we go...

Playing with 9 minute periods, which allows for more than enough PP's per team, shots, and goals. Had a game last night (PHI vs. BOS) outshooting the CPU 43-38. The next game (MON vs. TOR) where shots were just 15-12 entering the 3rd period, ended up 34-27 in CPU's favor.

Penalties are much better on All-Star, btw.

Hardcore is the gamestyle, btw.

Injuries On and Off...I toggle them on for a month, off for two weeks, on for a month, then off. Just trying to control the injury happy sim engine if you are playing Be-A-GM.

I'm playing all 1200 games in season mode and its really kewl to play as all teams and get a chance to play as all the star players. You really get to see the difference from team to team when you play all the games. Plus, the absence of simming in the entire league makes the league wide stats perfectly competitive as the sim engine basically does nothing given that every game through the season is actually played.

Nothing to worry about...you have to earn your ice...which is the way it should be.

What I like the most about these is that the goaltender/shot relationship is perfect. CPU and HUM goaltenders stop about 92 percent of the shots, which is the way it should be.

If 5 is too hard, lowering it a bit to your liking shouldn't really hurt things too much. Surely they'll play just as well.

Like yourself OBG i am going to do a full control season mode, i notice a difference in the way the game plays in BAGM that i dont like.

I wrote out a spreadsheet thing to mark everytime i go a team, i will try to go every team the same amount of times so that i wont be favouring anyone.

Started one before but the rosters weren't accurate and i was still fiddling about with custom music. I just want slider that work for me, i am sick of doing everything but play the actual game.

i've been "pumping the tires" of that dudes theory but alot of the guys here like a slower game. to each their own but this is the only way i play.... i love the adrenaline rush of clinging to a 1 goal lead and the cpu steps up
