Sim-Style Gameplay Sliders and Settings

VERSION 1.1 | Released on 10/17/2011 | GamerTag: McFlurry84 | Filename: [OS] Sim-Style Gameplay v1.1 | Download Link:

NOTE: PLEASE USE THE COACH PROFILE SETTINGS IN THE SPREADSHEET LINKED BELOW

Link to Sliders and Settings on Google Docs: SIM-STYLE GAMEPLAY SLIDERS AND SETTINGS

-----------------------------------

I'm releasing these sliders, settings, and coach profiles to go along with the Sim-Style Gameplay Rosters. The v1.0 sliders should work for the default rosters since those were built without tendency enhancements.

These sliders will work the best for CPU/CPU and Player Lock, but I've enjoyed them in User/CPU games as well.

I hope that you all enjoy and please give as much feedback as possible so we can build a more sim-style experience for everyone in the future.

For those of you on 360, check out the sliders named "[OS] Sim-Style Gameplay v1.1" under my gamertag (McFlurry84). Please remember to also apply the Coach Profiles with these sliders as they work together.

My goals for these sliders were the following:
1. Improve offensive flow for CPU teams.
2. Improve passing to cutters and backdoor passing for CPU teams.
3. Achieve team statistics near NBA averages in areas where this game typically suffers (9-12 offensive rebounds per game, 18-20 fouls per game, 12-15 fast break points per game, and 75-85 field goal attempts per game).
4. Reduce a lot of the sliding and warping animations (thus the low Quickness slider) without eliminating the blow by moves from guys like Rose, Wade, etc.
5. Create sliders to match the rosters that I'm working on. (Currently out on 360, check Rosters forum)

Will follow this thread.

I was just inputting the data from the spreadsheet and it seems like you edited it... Guess I will re-do... Hehe!

Will check CPU vs CPU first. I mostly play USER vs USER though.

EDIT: Quickness at 1... Is this sure?

I just changed the default tab on the spreadsheet in Google Docs. I still had the v0.1 and v0.2 sliders in there. Check now and you'll only see v1.0 which are the correct sliders. Sorry about that confusion.

FYI, if you're playing User vs User on default rosters then you will likely need to drop the 3PT Accuracy slider to 47/48. I'm using modified rosters with the slider at 49.

Alot of sliders and rosters out there, and i'm interested in this one.
I'm also wondering where can I edit the coaching profiles? I can't seem to find it.

EDIT: Nevermind I found it, for your spreadsheet for coaching profiles, is that for CPU vs CPU only? I'm hoping to use this for my Association mode.

Thanks for posting the box. Iguodala had a terrible game. Was it bad shot selection or good defense?

He just wasn't making shots.

Re: Sim-Style Gameplay Sliders and Settings

FYI: I have begun slider testing for a set of sliders to go with the release of my Sim-Style Gameplay Rosters. These will be labeled as v1.1 in the Google Docs spreadsheet once completed.

If you are using default rosters (or any other roster set without extensive tendency edits for every single player) then you should continue to use v1.0 of these sliders for CPU/CPU play.

Also, for those who wish to use these for actual User/CPU games I'd recommend changing the difficulty to Pro instead of All-Star. The game plays very similar, but the CPU isn't quite as efficient.
