Off to the Races: Winnipeg Jets BAGM Dynasty

I'm going to be taking control of the Winnipeg Jets/Atlanta Thrashers for the 2011-2012 season. This is my first attempt, so it isn't going to be too fancy or detailed until I can get accustomed to it.

I'll be playing on Pro difficulty, on Hard GM mode, with 20 minute periods. I simmed past the preseason and will pick up the action with the rosters and the first regular season game.

NO 'D' IN 'WINNIPEG': Jets Fall To Hungry Habs Snipers

WINNIPEG--The Jets set the bar low for their season tonight, as they dropped game 1 of the season to Montreal at home. It was a high-scoring game--5-4, to be exact--but the Jets were obviously having trouble with defensive synergy. Said goalie Pavelec after the game: "It was rough. Our defense couldn't quite get it together, and our offense had obvious trouble holding onto the puck. We just have to shake it off and prepare for the Blackhawks on Thursday."

PAVELEC NO MORE?: Despite Slater Trick, Jets Lose

CHICAGO--Ondrej Pavelec has now given up 15 goals in the first two games of the season, and is rumored to be on his way out of the Winnipeg organization as the Jets lost 10-4 today. Jim Slater did get a hat trick in the game. About the rumors, Pavelec said this after the game: "They're gonna get rid of me after two games? I deserve another shot. It's just the start of the season, and I know I can do what I do on any team in the league."

Jets acquire Fleury in blockbuster deal

PHOENIX--The Winnipeg Jets have trades Ondrej Pavalec and Tobias Enstrom from the Penguins in exchange for star goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. No comments have been made by either party at this time.
