Hey guys, will we need to restart our current franchise in order for the new patch to take effect?

Edit: I read through the patch 2 details thread and searched the whole thread and there were no difinitive answers on whether or not we have to restart, just guesses.

On madden 11 when patch arrived you had to restart your franchise and in some cases even delete your all saved files to make the patch work.
I guess it will be same for madden 12

Umm, no that's never been the case. In every game I have owned current franchises have worked with new patches.

Usually only time u need to restart franchise is for roster updates
