We all know that EA has once again cheated us PS3 users out of roster sharing, and so has removed the ability to use Mattg's roster. Well I was speaking with Mattg about this, and that is how this project was created. A bunch of other members of the community and I have been working the last couple weeks on the Community Roster Database, which is an effort to put out the most accurate possible roster rating adjustments. We have been working on it for the last couple weeks, and are about 50% done. I am planning on putting a lot of effort into it this week, and the goal is to have it completely done by the end of next week. CAPs, Line ups, Ratings adjustments, movements, everything. This will all be reviewed by myself and one other editor, to ensure that everything is balanced correctly, and then passed along to Mattg for final review. At which point he will make any finishing touches.

The reason I am posting this thread, is it seems especially recently that a lot of people weren't aware that we are working on this. We still have some teams that we haven't started, and could use any help or suggestions as far as players ratings go.

Not sure if you know this or not, but have you tried using winzip?? You can upload the file on here, and have us PS3 users download it with winzip. We'll be able to transfer to a usb flash drive, and upload it onto the PS3. I've used this technique to download NCAA 11, and MLB the show rosters before. Hope this works if you haven't tried it!!

Yes we are aware if the method but EA has locked save files on us since NHL 11. Therefore method comes up as corrupted...
Our latest success was NHL 10 which u can still do to this day

Yep, roster sharing has been out for ps3 for the last few years. thus we must resort to such methods.

That sucks, don't understand why PS3 gets put on the back burner smh, but you guys are doing an excellent job from what I read/reading, hopefully more people can help you out and get the ps3 rosters up!

got a taste of the awesomeness that these rosters provide, great work guys... that is, until the game froze half way thru the 2nd period. put in alot of beer time (means alot) and got all of anaheim done, only to have this game freeze on me like a prom date with a curfew.it's been a looooong time since that has happened. I followed the PS3 database BTW

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying them! Sorry to hear it froze on you. I just played some Play now with a buddy of mine at my house, and we played 12 minute periods with MKharshs sliders that had a few slight adjustments i made. Played as Anaheim vs. Boston. Stats were spot on for where they should be. I was anaheim and beat him 3-2. Was a great game, felt just like it should. Fast players stood out, slow players stood out. Was great.

I was yesterday at Hartwall Areena to see Sabres vs Ducks. Today I watched Ducks vs Rangers from TV. So I thought to make attribute adjustments atleast to attributes like speed, acceleration, balance etc. to Ducks on my own (because I think that EA's official rosters aren't that accurate) based on my observations on those two games. Then suddenly I noticed that you've released roster info for PS3!

Well I just compared your stuff to my own and I was amazed how similar they were. You've got pretty much everything spot on for the Ducks! Amazing work. I can't tell how much this helps when editing rosters to be more accurate. Thank you so much.
