Personally one of the things I do when playing Association mode is that I turn off computer trades until a month (or less) before the trade deadline.

It doesn't entirely correct the problem but trade logic has been a mixed bag for years now... Sometimes if I see that a team is "too stacked" ("stupidly stacked") at one position I might also force that team to make a trade with another team that is "too stacked".

i did create a legend with greg oden

simmed 2 weeks.

in 2 weeks, the blazer roster was conley, gino, g wallace, zbo, and camby

Who cares about that one, the Cavaliers traded their first round pick and Baron Davis for Hasheem Thabeet.

Agreed with synchromesh, trade logic has pretty much always been off with 2k. I turn trades off until 2 weeks before the deadline

'cgg' from Pacersdigest put up this pic...where he basically OWNED the draft by trading 2nds for firsts or traded 1 guy for a player and 2 1sts...then traded that guy for a player a 2 1sts...and so on

And I thought I was good collecting expiring contracts and 1sts when I rebuilded. My best player was Michael Redd and my whole team was off-contract for the year after. Unrealistic, but fun. Ended up with the top 5 picks in the draft.
