Is it even possible to get an OL Pro Bowler in Franchise mode?

It seems pretty simple to get an all-pro QB, RB, DT, CB... etc. Just get a bunch of passing/rushing yards, sacks, int or tackles or whatever that given position does and your player will be getting pro bowl votes.


However, I have yet (in any Madden) been able to get any player awards or pro bowlers in the O-line catergory. I'm guessing its all based on 'pancakes' which I get maybe 5 total for the whole team.

Has anyone ever gotten an OL to the pro bowl or won best OL category?

Nope, because Madden is a joke with fixing issues. Pancakes have been broken since way back on PS2. I couldn't believe, after waiting so long to dive into Madden on PS3, that things that were issues on PS2, STILL are issues in Madden '12!! Unacceptable...

In Madden '11 I've had plenty of Linemen go to the probowl, haven't really paid attention to the pro bowl in '12 though.

In Madden 10 and 11 I would have at least 1 o-linemen a year in pro bowl, but not even close this year.

I remember back in Madden 08 (PS2), I got 4/5 of my starting OL in the Pro Bowl! You win in the trenches...

Every year Jahri Evans and Carl Nicks gets it in my Franchise.. Yet to get one of my OL in my 'Skins Franchise though.

Each year, usually one of my DT gets in. That's about it other than Brees.

I wish there was more balance. Right now 7 games in to my franchise my RB is leading the team with 5 pancakes...

But I don't miss the days of NCAA PS2 where I had what seemed like infinite amounts of pancakes and always had all five O-lineman on the first team in a dynasty.

My two tackles are leading the Pro Bowl voting going into week 16 in my current franchise. Number of sacks allowed is really important too and they haven't allowed many.
