Redeeming Extra Teams/Not Connecting to 2K Servers Help

So i put the game in follow the instructions on how to get my extra teams bonus, and i put in my code, but it says must be connected to the 2k servers. Then when i go try and connect online it says "must sign in first". Im confused. Did i not sign in when i created a user name starting up the game? I'm not sure if the servers are having trouble. If anyone can help me with this DUMB but puzzling problem...it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I had a similar problem. I put in the code and it tried to connect to the 2K servers but couldn't. Now when I try the code again it says it's already been used. I tweeted Ronnie but he only seems to acknowledge positive tweets the first few days of release (understandably, I guess). Anyone had this happen and solve it?

Samething is happening to me must be something wrong with the servers.

I had the same problem (i'm on ps3)...must be something up with 2k's online.
