Tomba's Better Running Animation Edit Formula

In playing the game now for quite a bit I suggest this SIMPLE edit to ALL players. It makes a WORLD of difference in the running animations in game.

"TRY IT!" Takes about 10 minutes a team

ALL players Ball Control set to 82
ALL Players Explosive Power set to 82
ALL Players Dribble Speed set to 90
ALL players Motion Dribbling set to 3
Game Speed set at minus one

You are the man I will try these as soon as I get home. Question does this take away from players individuality or does every just seem faster now.

Actually whats cool about it is that its only the animation that's affected. Players all still play to their strengths.

What this eliminates is that weird kinda rotating that the players legs do and make it smooth.

What this essentially does is not make the player dribble better it makes them run better with the ball now based on their speed.

So a 90 against a 60 speed is STILL very different from a 90 dribbling against a 85 speed..

And what I mean by that is this:

Dribble speed 90
Top Speed 60

Plays and dribbles like a 60 speed player

Dribble speed 90
Top Speed 85

Plays and dribbles like a 85 speed player

Or wait a few days and someone will have uploaded an editor on EvoWeb. Would take less than a minute to globally edit every player in the game. Anyway, good stuff and I'm always looking for edits as well that improve the game's visual appeal as well. Last year I edited Agility ratings in order to get rid of the herky-jerky animations.

I will say though that every player with Dribble Speed at 90 won't work. Anyone with the ball becomes an automatic speed demon. You need more player ability variety than that. Ball Control is also a critical rating for players and has a huge effect on the overall gameplay. At 82, you're essentially making every player a control wizard.
