Looks like this was confirmed in the Q and A thread.

Im just not sure of 2k's reasoning behind this....

They HAD to see that the bulk of the downloads from 2k share were "All Time" type rosters...

I cant think of any reason this would be taken out....

Sure, im getting this game ASAP......but this is the worst news yet (for me)

24, you have to unlock them b4 you can edit them

I thought someone tried this and you can only edit, not release or trade

This is actually a HUGE disappointment for me. It might even be a deal breaker. I hope this isn't the case or could be patched in or something...

I wonder if you go to a current team, select a player, then select trade if you can trade to a legend team that way?

someone over on gamefaqs who has the game unlocked four teams and said he was unable to trade, release, or assign legends in exhibition. He also said you can edit the appearance of players but not their name or college or age.

HOWEVER, he said he started a season with a legend team, and was able to trade all the legends to the Cavs, and then export the team. So guess you might only be able to do that during season mode, maybe association mode??

So can you trade from an exported team to another team in exhibition? If so that would be a good work around.
