I guess my star defensive player doesn't feel like playing anymore

Entering year 2 of Dolphins franchise and I changed to a 4-3 defense from a 3-4, moving Cam Wake to DE (I couldn't actually change him because he will lose his pass rusher role, weak). He is still rolb, but on depth chart he is at de. Played first preseason game and can't get him on the field. The only formation he is in is the punt return, no other formations and not in the available subs. At least I got to see him announced in the spectacular field entrance. This is mind bottling

Where is he on your linbeback depth chart? I think for you to get him to play DE you are gonna have to change him to DE and just deal with losing the role (when is this getting patched btw EA?!).

If you do move him and he loses the role, if he has a good year getting sacks, Wake would get the role again in the offseason

Played 2nd preseason game, still a no show...Resigned him and he showed up for game 3...holding out? He was previously making 600k w/ 1yr left.

It's possible he was holding out, but I personally haven't seen real "hold-outs" since the PS2/Xbox days of the game.
